Hello, my name is Riley Hamilton and I'm a 28 year old web developer & programmer based in Nashville, TN. Thank you for visiting my on-line portfolio, please take the time to follow the links to each page of my work.
I grew up in the small town of Seagrove, NC in the center of the Piedmont region. Being raised by my grandparents, I am very thankful for the hard working characteristics that were instilled in me. From chores on the family's cattle farm to working in the pottery shop my grandparents owned and operated, I took many great lessons from my upbringing. I only hope that I am able to exhibit them daily to the fullest extent in which they were intended.
I got my start in graphic design, oddly enough, through music. After high school, I studied in the field of Audio Production and Recording. My dream was to own a small record label, record the artists, and also create their album artwork and websites. While in school to learn the aspects of recording, I found myself drifting more towards the design elements of the industry. Before long, I was recording albums of my own music, as well as my friends, JUST so I could make the CD artwork.
One thing led to another and I moved to Nashville in the Summer of 2005. I've been a proud resident of Music City ever since. I came here for the music, and ended up jumping out on an entirely different branch of my creative life. One which I never before had noticed. One that was always there all along, quietly growing, and now able to graciously support me for the rest of my life.
